As a team of “Good Eggs,” we encourage and support one another to achieve our personal and professional goals. Like many people, several of our team members wanted to start the new year off on the right note and develop healthy habits. 

Together, we came up with a challenge that focused on small, but impactful changes that we could make in our lives. It takes 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic, so we created a 90 day challenge to keep track of our personal commitments.

Making Healthy Changes in Our Lives

Many of us focused on water intake, choosing to drink at least 80 to 90 ounces of water per day. One of us aimed for one gallon of water per day!

We also had several people who focused on move goals, including weekly yoga or meditation sessions, daily walks of 30 minutes or 3 miles, and 10,000 steps per day. One of our team members set some stand, move, and exercise goals on her Apple Watch: 12 hour standing, 60 minutes of exercise, and 800 active calories burned.

We tracked the number of days that we were successful in meeting or surpassing our goals each week. 

Making Changes in Our Community

We chose to add a charitable component to our healthy challenge as well. For every successful day, WTM Digital would donate $1 to Lancaster Conservancy. Lancaster Conservancy aims to provide wild and forested lands and clean waterways for the community where many of our Good Eggs live and work. 

Our healthy changes amounted to $325 to Lancaster Conservancy!

While our 90 day challenge concludes, we look forward to keeping these habits in our regular routines!
